NEW PLAYERS REQUIRED AT ALL AGES

Arbroath Rugby Rhinos are the junior section of Arbroath Rugby Club.

The junior section started in January 2008 with a hand full of boys and enthusiastic parents and of course our dedicated coach and mentor Paul Martin. Numbers slowly grew but it wasn’t until 19th April 2009 at Strathmore Sharks mini festival that our juniors had their first competitive games. We turned out on the pitch with a hand full of players and no kit but still put in a spirited performance against much more experienced sides. Since then the juniors have grown in size and experience. In December 2009 we ran a competition to name the team. The kids voted on the name they liked the best and Arbroath Rugby Rhinos was born. We are now engaged in a full season’s fixtures for our P1 to P7 boys and girls age groups and are desperate to recruit S1 & S2 boys so we can compete at that level as well.

We train every Sunday morning at the grounds of Arbroath Cricket Club, Keptie Road, at 11am. You are welcome to drop by but please look at the fixtures page to check that we are not playing against another team away.
